• No vulgarities or profanity - Yea! You can't use words like: $@%$#*, &%*$@!@#, or %$(%#@$%. Try alternative colorful phrases like: "Merciful heavens she sure is acting like a nincompoop," "Golly gee, I wish he hadn't said that about my mother." or "Oh heck! Am I having a bad day." Attempts to circumvent the language filter will result in posting rights being removed. Please use common sense.

• No blasphemy - When you post, don't worry about the wrath of the board's administrators - worry more about the wrath of God.

• No cultic material - If the leader of your group just happens to be a god, you might be edging into the cultic category.

• No copyright material - You can quote up to 500 words from any source without citing where you got the quote. There are gray areas on sources you reference, but one thing this board does not approve of is copying entire articles from subscription based newsletters. If you post a news story, you need to include a link back to the source.

• No links to immoral sites - If the site asks folks if they're 18 or 21 or gets the no-no from Net Nanny, then you might want to refrain from posting the link.

• No spamming - Don't just repeatedly post information. Don't just repeatedly post information. Don't just repeatedly post information. Don't just repeatedly post information.

• No slandering the character of a board participant - Even if they are a mental case and the voices in their head continually haunt them, you shouldn't be compounding their difficulties by publicly airing their personal problems. Everyone has the right to disagree with any other board member, however, the disagreements should focus on doctrinal issues and not person issues.

• No selling of products - Things like: drugs, military secrets, nuclear components, and human souls are definitely frowned on. When buying anything, you need to know and trust the person you're dealing with.
  
• No "I'm a Better Christian than You" games - Some folks seem to believe that they are the only true Christian who has ever lived and are thus bent on "fixing" all who cross their path. While we highly encourage discussion of various topics, we do draw the line at the abject condemnation of others over non-essential issues such as spiritual gifts, political affiliation, worship style and holiday observance. Discuss at will but keep the attitudes in check! This category also includes judgment calls by members that are above their level of responsibility and pay grade such as "Pin-the-tail-on-the-antichrist" and counseling remarried people that they must re-divorce in order to "get right with God".
  
• No Dispensing Medical Advice - Our board is made up of many members from diverse backgrounds and professions, including many health professionals. While we understand that those who may try to offer medical advice have good intentions and are usually operating within the scope of their training and experience, we cannot allow medical advice to be offered due to a number of potential liability reasons. It's impossible to verify the licensure and training of every single member, and even legitimate experts are susceptible to mistakes ... particularly when attempting to diagnose on-line, without being able to adequately examine the patient. If you are having a health problem serious enough to motivate you to seek help on this board, then we urge you to call your physician (or 911, if the situation is emergent) and seek professional face-to-face evaluation.
